Gorstag Greycastle

Gorstag is a 6'2" barbarian with shoulder length black hair and beard.  His eyes are a piercing deep blue and has a tattoo on his right bicep of a blazing silver sword on a blood red shield.

Gorstag along with his twin sister Kerri were born to Glenvir Rykensdottir in Jalanthar. Their mother had been taken captive by an orc tribe that had slaughtered her clan during the celebration on the night she was to wed their father Halgar Nightblaze.  She had been freed by a band led by the ranger Helm Greycastle, who brought her back to Jalanthar while she recovered from her wounds.  Glenvir taught the twins the ways of the Gray Wolf tribe even though she chose to stay with Helm in Jalanthar and eventually married him.  She could see the unbridled rage deep in Gorstag and trained him as the warriors of her tribe were so that he could harness it instead of letting it control him.  His sister Kerri on the other hand always seemed calm and have an inner peace about her.  She also had an innate spark of magic that she discovered came from the goddess Mielikki.  This led to a rift with their mother who had a great distrust of magic, however Gorstag always stood by his sister and they have stayed close.
