Daniel shows up with coffee and doughnuts as we gather together. The papers talk about the woman we captured, Alison Cragel, as wrongfully accused. Jason destroys his sniper scope trying to fix it. We track down some leads to the people that Alison hangs out with, all suburbanites. The group sets out in two vehicles to set up a stake-out at Melissa Fredrick's  house, one of Alison's contacts. Listening in and checking phone records, we also identify Lori Tanager, Gina Mathews, and Carol Davidson. Robert checks out their records, and find that there are some small items but nothing big:

The people are all going to a meeting. They leave their phones at home and onstar does not work, so we follow by vehicle. We are able to follow them to a deserted office building in a nice part of town.

We think security would probably show up here faster than the bad area of town if anything large were to happen. Jason and Daniel park a few blocks away after dropping off, while Steven and Hendricks park behind the building.

Suddenly the air is physically electrified as the hair stands up on the back of Daniels neck. Steven and Daniels can sense some form of energy, it’s as if for a moment his eyes are seeing double, like he can physically see the building and a mystical storm above it with lighting and the building itself is flowing as if the building is covered in energy.

“Um…either we need to hurry up and go in or get away. There is energy building up and a huge mystical storm about to hit!” says Steven.

Steven and Daniel both see the wolf-men like figure step out of the building, obviously taking up defensive positions. There is another feeling of energy as suddenly all the electronics shuts down.

“What are they doing?”

“Maybe putting up more defenses after what happened last night.”

After deciding climbing up to the roof would take to long and be too difficult for the civilians, it’s decided to try and get to a side door and try and open it up. Hendricks and Steven get to the door but a growl echoes out as they are spotted.

Jason indicates to the rest that they were spotted. Daniel pulls out his weapon and takes aim, but waits.

Steven starts picking the lock, and swears momentarily as it’s proving difficult.

Robert takes aim and waits for the attack, hopeful the team will get inside before he has to shoot.

The next wolf moves into view, it’s about 8-1/2 feet tall with a huge chest. It doesn’t look anything like what the wolves in Mexico looked like. It’s foaming at the mouth but doesn’t seem to notice the group. The second one moves closer towards the group but doesn’t exactly see the group who freezes. Jason suddenly vanishes into the foliage close by.

The werewolf stopped, stands in position and sniffs the air. A almost unheard of click sounds as Steven opens the door. Both Daniel and Robert move into the open door, but although they are trying to move quietly the wolf howls and chases towards the open door. Jason, from the darkness comes rolling into the open door as Steven stands up and tries to run in. He gets in, spins around, and shuts the door. A loud clang rings out as the door physically moves in at the impact of the wolf. Steven stands up and walks away from the door, totally in shock as his heart beats heavily in his heart, amazed he made it in and avoided the wolf.

“Well, you two, use your magical sight, where are we going?”

Daniel concentrates, but shrugs. Steven, on the other hand, points and says “2nd floor, over there.” As the group moves up the stairs with Jason in the lead, another thud echoes from downstairs as the wolf again hits the door. Moving down the hall, it’s a typical office building. Steven seems to think it’s one of the two doors up ahead, and points to them.

Jason pauses at the first door just as a woman walks out of the second door.

From the angle he’s at, Steven realizes he can’t hit her, so he shoots at the ceiling above her to see if he can scare her. She is totally surprised by both the party in the hallway and the falling debris about her.

Daniel, seeing the attack at the ceiling, suddenly realizes if Steven had hit the sprinklers, it might disrupt the candles and the spell itself as he hits the sprinkler system himself.

Jason doesn’t think but just shoots the woman and hits her with a glancing blow.

At this point we can tell that it is Laurie that is in the hallway, as she tries to conjure a spell and cast it at the party. Lightning streaks down the hallway, hits Jason right in the chest, bounces from him to Rob, bounces from Rob to Steven and then to Daniel. After Daniel sparks are flying down the hallway, and no damage seems to be present. She suddenly yells out “I’ve got them!”

Then, after saying that, she waves at the group and waves at them to be quiet and don’t say anything. Jason, seeing that, motions that the party stay still and keep her covered as he moves quietly up towards her. Suddenly she yells “Crap, they are still moving.”

Jason, back at the party, says “Just yell out some cries when it goes off”

Her hands move in a flurry of motion as even more pyrotechnics of light and energy fill the room totally engulfing it. No damage happens to the party as Steven shoots his shotgun off to add dramatics to it and Jason and Robert scream.

Then, from the back, Daniel goes into acting mode as he throws himself against the wall and slides down acting like he was killed.

“There we go my sisters, they are taken care of, we can finish in peace”

In a hushed tone, Jason calls everyone close and says “Listen, for whatever reason she is on our side, we need to target the others and take them down. If we don’t they will respond in kind first.”

Melissa is in simple white robes. (Jason Daniel)

Gina is in white robes, but has several belts made out of animal skins (Robert)

Carol Is in white robes as well, but steam is rising off of her. (Steven)

Laurie is in white robes just like Melissa.

Jason and Daniel unload 3/1 respectfully. Melissa is hit solidly twice in the chest, fairly hard.

Robert misses as the rounds hit behind her.

Lifting the shotgun, Steven hits Carol in the shoulder as she shifts for the massive hit. But, she straightens up and some of the shot drops to the floor.

Suddenly Jason yells, “Carol has the demon in her!”

He looks scared as he brings up his assault rifle quick and fires at Carol. He’s so shaken that he misses.

Robert, dropping the assault rifle onto its strap grabs the pistol with the silver bullets and uses it. It hits Carol and blue fire lifts from the one round that strikes her.

Gina morphs into a full sized werewolf and moves up to Jason and swipes at him, hitting him twice.

Steven switches to his ’45 with the silver bullets and shoots at her. The action of drawing the new weapon throws off his aim as he only hits with one.

Daniel, seeing the werewolf shoots it with the silver bullets in his pistol, striking it twice.

Carol spits out some of the ichors that is in and around her mouth, it goes down to her hand and forms into flame as it flows into the hallway and explodes. Everyone is engulfed in heat as the flash goes off, but if the sprinkler or attacks did it, nobody takes any damage.

Melissa tries to finish the ceremony but fails as she collapses to the floor.

Suddenly, Laurie casts a spell at the demon as lightning flies out towards the demon and singes it in electrical energy.

Jason shoots the werewolf and hits twice.

Robert shoots at the demon, hits it twice and it drops to the floor. The party cheers.

The werewolf goes into frenzy and attacks with multiple attacks at Jason and Rob.

Jason is hit hard but Robert is completely missed as he ducks under the first attack and the second one only rips open his shirt.

Daniel aims at the werewolf in front of him, one round hits it soundly in the chest and it drops.

As soon as it hits the ground Jason runs towards Melissa and ties her up. He then starts to bandage her as he motions to Jason to tie up Laurie. One of the Mayan tablets is in here, and it’s what Melissa was reading off of. Gina turns back into human form. There was a puff of black smoke that appeared around Carol, and her body is suddenly covered in wounds from the many rounds.

Laurie says “The pelts around Gina are what allow her to control the wolves.”

As Steven tries to cut it, his knife dulls and won’t cut it. Robert suddenly thinks of something and offers up his silver dagger to Steven. That easily cuts through the animal skins. As soon as he did that, a loud thump happens outside as a wolf was obviously at the door. Steven looks up with a start and Laurie says “don’t worry, their brains are destroyed by the magic, they are dead. Thank you, this started out as a simple magical thing, but it exploded into a huge magical thing where they killed some drug people and tried to take over. So when you guys showed up, I threw my lot in with you. There was a different fight with a different drug dealer, I tried to knock them out, but the others just killed them. They barely even got their weapons out. Gina can make those wolf-men, but she can only control four at a time, that is what the furs were about. Melissa had defensive spells that would knock out electronics.”

The group agrees, as they cover her, but allow her to attempt to remove the electronic spell. She slumps and shrugs, suggesting she wasn’t able to break the spell.

We bandage up Melissa and put her and Jason into the back of the pickup. They group has to push the vehicles two blocks each to get them outside the electronic spell radius.  Laurie rides with Robert and Daniel as the party drives back to the new warehouse.

We tell the military to go clean up the mess and warn about the power effect and 5 block radius.

During the debriefing, Laurie gives out the whole scenario of how this started six years ago and just kept progressing, eventually getting into the drug industry and then trying to take it over and then eventually trying to control even larger organizations.

Steve mentions he has a detective that could use this information, and the army agrees so that they don’t have to deal with it, and so she can take credit for it. Steven thinks Julie will be very happy.
