Riding Steed

It is amazing to me, nearly more than the pyramid itself, that we see so many different Goblin lcans working together.  This surprise may only be surpassed by the fact that Humans as working with them.  I will admit, they made quite an entrance with the trupets sounding and all, but followers of Bane defile even the beauty of the entrace.  It sould no longer come as a shock to me that every breath brings a fresh surprise with this group.  Some sort of magic is performed, perhaps a ritual, and an Obsidan or Onyx orb nearly 10 feet around comes out of the top of the pyramid..It is awash in purple flames and resembles nothing so much as an eye.

My amazement at all of these sites so quickly must have distracted me and my hiding skills, and we are spotted.  We qucikly find the beauty in running away to fight another day...while all our skills are growing, we are no match for nearly 300 humans and humanoids.  We quickly head into the woods and do our best to keep from being caught.  Cabal does a few clever things with sound, and Duncan leads us where we can hide.

The party of 7 goblins and 1 hobgoblin don't find us right away, but they seem to think we are nearby...which we are.  It appears to be the only group that is near us, and we decide to take the fight to this much smaller band.
