Wayside Inn and Funeral

The group found out about their mentor's death, Petros Lorrimor, and are trying to get to Ravengro in time for the funeral.  Caught in the rain, they do manage to make it to the Wayside Inn, still a half day's ride from the town.  

Another group is there, enjoying their spoils of war from a crypt.  

That night, there is a haunting that the group manages to stop.  They take part of the other group's treasure, as it seems to be causing it, and the other group is fine with that.  

They arrive the next day in town, just in time for the funeral.  Kendra, Petros' daughter, asks them to be pall bearers.  Gibs Haphenus brings trouble but Artem is able to talk him down.  The rest of the funeral goes well.  

The go back to the Lorrimor estate where councilman Vashian Hearthmount reads Petros' will, wherein the group is asked to perform a task, for which they will be rewarded well.  They are also asked to stay in town and help get Kendra settled for the next month.  Kendra arranges their rooms.

GM Notes

• I don't remember how much xp they got.  Hopefully one of them has it.  
• The haunting at the Inn went well and I was happy with my descriptions of what happened.  
• I, unfortunately, talked Drew out of his character concept and that left him with little to do.  He is going to work on a new concept.  
• The group meshed well and the quick combat helped.  
• Had to establish some rules on undead, what is best for certain components, and some other details.
