Training
Why did Orrin start adventuring? – When I was 16, my parents gave me a choice. They felt I was old enough to make my own decisions, and left my future in my own hands. The choice I was given was work in the family business, or head out on my own. They told me they could see something in me that was special. Working in the vineyards and winery was fine work and a good living for our family. But they knew it wasn’t my calling. But it was to be my own decision, and I chose the life of adventure.
Trainer/Instructor – When I set out on my own, I had as much of a head start as I could. I had provisions and a horse, but no training for much of anything. A caravan was taking the family wine to the city of Stockport and I tagged along. One of the caravan guards named York Rinerri knew my brother Durar and filled my head and time with the grace of the blade.
Special Items – My parents handed down a dagger to me that belonged to my great great grandfather Moric Derrikkross. He had used it to slay a great <RACE> leader in a long forgotten battle. It was rumored that the battle was over land which contained rich veins of silver. The Derrikkross family has passed the dagger from generation to generation, but no one remembers where the lands are or if the stories were true.
