Glenmaple
Glenmaple is a small town of about one thousand people. It was settled fifty years ago by a noble family that had extra money. They spent a lot of money on the keep and some of the early buildings, like the bath house and some inns. They attacted a few other noble familes who built some mansions but most of the people who arrived were "commoners" looking to make good on a frontier town. They had a few skirmishes here and there but not much happened. Eventually, the noble family that started it was so disgusted at the type of people they had attracted, that they sold their town charter to another noble family and went back to the capital city.
In the past decade, Glenmaple has done well. They have a good farming community and the halfling merchants come up to here regularly. The have market days starting in the late spring and going until early fall, every other week. There are several carpenters who also make some of the best furniture from the oak and maples of the area.
They have several Inns, most notably the The Sleeping Sister, The Nomad's Blouse Inn and The Cat's Oasis, where cats of all kind are welcome and not to be harmed.
The taverns have several local meads and bitter ales, fresh meat and some fish, and a rye and millet bread. They have a few local wines but nothing that is exceptional. The Bar of the Beautiful Gargoyle does have a few statues to its namesake around but they aren't beautiful. The Bull and Knight Saloon is another drinking hole as well.
There is small community of elves here who will act as scouts but are a bit aloof, despite attempts by the duke to do anything else.
Several nobles have sponsored small villages around Glenmaple, to try and increase their land holdings. Most prospered until the recent troubles.

Map Notes
- This is an attempt at a map in CC3. I think it sucks but am trying to get better. I am happy with my overland maps, more my recent ones, but my city ones still need to improve.
- The ideas are there but I need to expand on them more. And work on some consistency. I hope to with some more tutorials from ProFantasy. The others ones have been great.
