So, I've been struggling a little with getting into the mechanics of the game. Borrowing the handbook helped a little, but there are some things that are just easier to learn by doing. I feel so much more comfortable now than when I started, and regardless of my knowledge & skills, I am having a great time! I was very proud, though, when I was actually able to hold a conversation about WoW with someone outside the group and actually understand the things they were saying AND was able to answer the questions about my character that I was asked! I understand that WoW is, obviously, very different, but the basics are still the same. I'm getting there......slooooowly.......but I am!! :-D Excited to resume after a week off, too! OH - and to use my sword with it's increased capabilities!!!

I fell for it. :) (Of course, it's not really hard to pull a fast one on me.) So, I found the Tel'kiira! I was a little sad when it happened, because I was afraid I wouldn't know what to do next with my character. But of course, I let it play out and see what happened. Inari's POV: I didn't really like the Tel'kiira...it has some evil properties and I might have accidentally done a bad thing with it. Needless to say, I put it in my bag and didn't touch it again until I went back to Evereska to hand it over. Knowing it's capabilities, I felt the need to be guarded with my father and ask questions of him before just handing it over. Guess what? Wrong one! After searching for it and going on some pretty crazy journeys, my father informs me that the Tel'kiira I was supposed to be retrieving was in the gem shop in Scornubel all along. GAH! (Nice one, DM. Well played.) To get rid of the dumb thing, I handed it over. Guess I'll be returning to Scornubel and visiting the gem shop soon. :-P But I have made friends with my new companions, and they have had my back and really taught me a lot, so I decided to stay with them and help them as much as I can. While I love Evereska, and it will always be my home, I feel a sense of camaraderie with this group and finally feel like I have a purpose. I'm excited for more adventures, even if they are a bit frightening at times. :)

Crap! I forgot all about my father enchanting my sword - it now has far slain capabilities! Well, now I'll remember for next time, anyway. We finally got to fight AND kill someone! Everyone has been leaving when we bloody them lately, so it was nice to actually finish a fight. Granted, we have to follow them through a portal and take on even more people once we got there, but still... :) It was a fun night, with lots of joking and goofing off.

Inari: Well, I hopefully have the Tel'kiira that the Elder council sent me to find now. I can't believe it was in the gem shop in Scornubel the entire time. I really thought the Council would give me more of a challenge. I wonder if they thought I couldn't handle more? Anyway, I have to get this thing back to them, I know they have been waiting for it. Hopefully my group will be willing to take another trip back to Evereska soon. I know Paavu is anxious to get his leg fixed, and I'd really like to speak to my father about Feinn. I often feel like he has a certain magic of his own that I'd like to try and tap into so that I can communicate better with him. He really has proven to be a good companion.
