Jinn is a male moon elf, though young by elvish standards, he’s 111 years old. For the vast majority of his life, Jinn roamed the realms with his tribe, never staying in one place for more than two or three seasons. Though he has studied magic for most of his life, at this point the practice of it is mostly theory to Jinn. Jinn’s life changed when he met Tana, a Damaran human. He quickly fell in love and married her. His father disapproved and refused to attend the wedding. His mother understood, though she also understood the heart break to come as Jinn and Tana would have 50 years together at most. They had 12. Shortly after the wedding, the couple settled in a cottage on the outskirts of the small village of Goldenfields. They began farming. During the evenings Jinn would spend time with Tana and pour over his texts. It was a good life. Jinn was content. But then Tana contracted a wasting disease. Jinn had prolonged her life with remedies he would trade for in the village, but eventually she succumbed. Before passing, she begged Jinn to step out of his books and lead a life of legend. And that is where we find Jinn today.
