The Devil Made Me Do It

October 16, 2014

There are three demon possessions.  The group goes to the one but the demon is able to leave the body as they have no means of stopping it.

It turns out that Roberto Graziano has been possessed and while they drive the demon out, it cost Roberto his arm.  Roger is not happy with this but they have to keep going.

The final one is in a housewife.  They confront her, or try to, and it doesn't go well.  Roger ends up killing the housewife as she "ran away" screaming for help in the middle of the street.  They all recover, realize they need to get out of there, and head back to the Chop Shop.  Father Cain is troubled by this when told about it and can't offer them a position in the Long Night anymore but is certainly willing to help Roger through this whole ordeal.

GM Notes

  • I had a  bad session and didn't do well.  Still bummed about it.  Need to get notes up here.
  • We are going to talk about things next time, add more contacts as necessary, give more information, and let the players pick their character's path.  I'm hoping that helps.
  • Also need to work on the Hero Lab files.
  • Good potential character growth.  When Roger killed the housewife, I think we were all stunned by it.   It's also what made me realize that I wasn't doing well because they players were too frustrated.  They were losing too much and not seeing a win.
  • I need to get back to basics and get some ideas from a module and then get back on track form there.
  • My wife dropped out of editing the audio, so I'm also behind on putting those together as well.  I'm bummed about that because I knew the time it would take and am not sure I have the time to do it.  At least, not every week.  I might try and do something eventually, especially when we aren't as busy on the weekends.
